Doha: The FIFA Fan Festival at Albida Park has become the busiest place for the World Cup. A day before the opening of the World Cup, the FIFA Fan Festival venue had started its activities. The venue is crowded with fans until it closes in the morning. Giant screens have been installed for live telecast of the matches. Crowded in front of the screen to watch the matches. There are also amazing musical performances for fans on a daily basis.
The food courts are right next to the main venue. From local to international flavors here. There are separate boards for Asia, Europe, Middle East and South Africa. Every country has its own unique dish here. It is also convenient to sit and eat in front of the food stalls. Events in the venues can also be seen through the huge screen installed in front of it. If you want to sip beer, beer parlors are also ready outside the food court.
Football matches of FIFA legends and physical and digital football game stations for all age groups are one of the attractions here. Fans Cup will also be seen from 29th to December 2nd this month. The Fan Cup is similar to the FIFA tournament for World Cup fans.
It is also noteworthy that the teams have fans from 32 countries competing in the World Cup. It also houses FIFA’s museum and official sponsor stores. A HAYA card is mandatory to enter the FIFA Fan Festival venue.
Albida Park, the festival venue, can be reached via 3 stations of the Doha Metro. Those arriving on the Red Line should alight at any metro station at West Bay Qatar Energy, Albida and Corniche.
Those coming on the Green Line can also get off at Albida. Shuttle buses are also running continuously from all the stadiums to the FIFA Festival venue. Apart from all these there are taxi, ride and share services.
Entry from today to 29th from 11.00 am to 2.00 am and from 30th to 18th December from 4.00 pm to 2.00 am.
