Dubai: Expo City Dubai will soon reveal plans for residential complexes, including apartments, townhouses, and villas, to create a “smart, sustainable, people-centric metropolis of the future.”
To improve safety and air quality, the city’s districts are car-free, providing locals a “unique opportunity” to live in the “proud legacy city” of Expo 2020 Dubai.
All the events and attractions at Expo City Dubai will be “on the doorsteps” of the brand-new, environmentally friendly integrated neighborhoods. In addition to having workplaces, dining establishments and event venues, they also have playgrounds for children, 45,000 square meters of parks and gardens, 10 km of bike routes, and 5 km of jogging trails. They also have a range of facilities for education, culture and recreation.
According to a statement issued by Expo City Dubai on Tuesday, the houses would “exemplify best practices in creative, ecologically friendly architecture, with an emphasis on the welfare and sustainable living.”
The sales center for the Sustainability District will be open on March 15 and provide thorough details on the programs.
