Dubai: The world’s largest technology exhibition, Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX-2022) will begin in Dubai on Monday. More than 5,000 companies from 170 countries are expected to participate in the five-day fair from Monday to the 14th at the World Trade Center.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that driverless taxis will be showcased for the first time at GITEX. RTA said that the exhibition will feature a wide range of smart initiatives, innovative applications, electric vehicles and smart solutions for transfer of vehicle ownership. Chairman Mattar Al Tayer said.
Ways to increase productivity and operational efficiency will be adopted with the help of technology and artificial intelligence.
In addition, Al Tayer said a number of new services have been launched to improve the satisfaction of visitors and residents to the emirate.
Such projects are implemented according to the desire of the leadership to make Dubai the best city in the world to work and live.
GITEX is the world’s largest technology exhibition. It is expected that India will reach an agreement with many foreign companies at GITEX, which is the main export market for India’s electronics products in the UAE.
