Dubai: The Federal Authority for Identification, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has announced the availability of a new registration form for the Emirates ID that enables users to check the status of their applications and modify the date for their fingerprint scanning.
The application process for the new Emirates ID Card Registration has been changed, according to a video broadcast online by ICP on their social media platforms.
Following ICP’s visual brand, the new form has also been updated and now contains the applicant’s photo. The application form also outlines the procedures for obtaining an Emirates ID, which include supplying your biometric information and waiting for the results of your medical tests. There will also be information provided about the courier service delivering the Emirates ID.
Three Quick Response (QR) codes have been added to the form to allow applicants to check the status of their applications, register complaints or inquiries through the “Customer Voice Gateway” website and modify the date of the fingerprint scan.
