Dubai: The UAE Fuel Price Committee will announce the gasoline pricing schedule for March 2023.
The committee established prices for super 98, special 95, and E plus at Ph 3.05, Ph 2.93, and Ph 2.86 per litre, respectively, an increase of more than 10% month over month in retail fuel prices for February 2022.
Due to the hefty taxes that the majority of countries levy on fuel consumption, local gasoline prices are still significantly lower than those found internationally.
In the United Arab Emirates, the retail price of petrol only includes value added tax (VAT).
According to globalpetrolprices.com, the cost of gasoline in the UAE is Dh1.84 per litre less than the global average. The average price of gasoline in the UDE as of February 20 was Dh 2.93.
Due to worries that the world economy might enter a recession, prices were on the lower side in the final four months of 2022.
