Abu Dhabi: Malayalees are lucky again in the big ticket. One kg of 24 carat gold was won in the second weekly electronic draw of Big Ticket this month. Jayakumar, who works as an engineer in UAE, got the gold.
Jayakumar is working in Abu Dhabi as a software engineer. Jayakumar bought the ticket on October 16 with 18 friends. Jayakumar bought the tickets in the ‘Buy Two, Get One Free’ offer where two big tickets are bought together and a third ticket is free.
Luck has not left Jayakumar. The free ticket was drawn and the prize was one kilogram of gold. With this, Jayakumar has become the second person to win a kilogram of gold this month after winning the weekly draws. Jayakumar says that despite winning the gold, the goal is the grant prize. Jayakumar said that he is hoping to get it once and will buy more tickets.
All Big Ticket winners in October will be entered into a weekly electronic draw. One person selected each week will get one kilogram of gold each. Those who buy tickets during this promotion period will also have a chance to win 2.5 crore dirhams (over INR 50 crore) in the grand draw on November 3.
Big ticket fans can purchase tickets for this draw online or at in-store counters at Abu Dhabi International Airport and Al Ain International Airport until October 31. Now there are two draws left where you can win 1 kg of 24 carat gold as a prize. It is from October 17 to 23 and October 23 to 31. In the first draw, the Jordanian got the gold.
