Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid says that COP28 will be the Biggest Event in the UAE in 2023

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai on Tuesday, will host the United Arab Emirates as the largest event in the UAE next year. This follows the latest COP28 Climate Summit in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh, and creates the pace of the meeting in Paris in 2015, promising to restrict global warming to 1.5 ° C above the industry.

In COP28, countries are assessing the progress of the agreement for the first time. The Global Event in Expo City Dubai will welcome more than 140 state and government leaders and 80,000 participants.

“The UAE’s COP28 hosting will be the most important event for the country by 2023,” said Sheikh Mohammed, the first of the two-day government meeting of senior officials.

Dr. Sultan Al Jafar, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Special Ambassador for Climate Change and President of Mastar, gave a presentation at the meeting and outlined what he would be involved in holding one of the biggest global events of the year.

He also gave examples of the achievements of the United Arab Emirates, including the burning of gas under the orders of the late Sheikh Saeed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates since the 1970s.

“The late Sheikh Saeed laid the foundations of the environmental stability and climate measures we have built over the past decades,” said Dr. Al Jafar. “Today, we have a proven channel record, such as reducing emissions, accelerating the growth of renewable energy and enabling energy change.

” He said the Climate Summit was a “global political, economic, scientific and social platform for achieving duties to reduce the effects of climate change and evaluate the effects of climate change through negotiations.”

Dr. Al Jafar, the United Arab Emirates, is determined to carry out climate measures based on the effects of the COP27, where a historical agreement was reached to create a fund to cover the climate damage endangered by vulnerable countries.

A high panel has been set up to oversee products for COP28. The committee is headed by Foreign and International Cooperation Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Saeed. Dr. Al Jafar said COP28 was important because it was the first global duty to be made after the Paris Agreement in 2015.

The United Arab Emirates, as a host country, will focus on finding practical solutions that ensure energy conservation when reducing emissions. Dr. Al Jafar has issued an open call to all government departments in the UAE to work closely with each other to make the event a success.
